DAY 1:  Depart USA
The group will depart from USA for flight to Milan. Dinner and breakfast will be served aboard flight.

DAY 2:  Milan
Arrive Milan where the group will be met by the tour guide and transferred to the hotel.  Later in the day enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of one of Italy's largest cities including views of the magnificent Duomo (cathedral), the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and the world famous La Scala (opera house).  The group will also visit Santa Maria delle Grazie to view the painting by Leonardo da Vinci of The Last Supper. Dinner and overnight in Milan. (D)

Day 3:  Milan / Turin
Depart after breakfast for Turin. En route visit Castelnuovo Don Bosco (formerly called Castelnuovo D’Asti), the home town of beloved St. John Bosco. Visit the Basilica of Don Bosco that was built near the quarters where he lived.  Continue to Turin for an afternoon free for personal sightseeing, shopping and relaxation. Dinner and overnight in Turin. (B, D)

Day 4: Turin
After breakfast enjoy an orientation tour of fascinating Turin. See the 17th century Palazzo Reale (Royal Palace) and the 16th century Baroque Church of San Lorenzo. Visit also to Piazza San Carlo, one of the grandest squares in Italy. Visit also to the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist where the Shroud of Turin is housed in the Royal Chapel.   In the afternoon the highlight of the day will be a visit to the places associated with John Bosco in Valdocco, including the church that houses his remains, the Basilica of Our Lady Help of Christians, the Pinardi Chapel (the first oratory that St. John Bosco built), the Church of St. Francis de Sales, John Bosco’s  living quarters. Dinner and overnight in Turin. (B, D)

Day 5: Turin / Florence
Today we depart Turin for Florence, the city of art. Our tour highlights: The Duomo & the Baptistry designed by Giotto as well as Santa Croce, the famous Church where Dante, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and many others are buried. Also visit the famous statue of David by Michelangelo. Dinner and overnight in Florence. (B, D)

Day 6:  Florence
After breakfast, free day in Florence. Explore the city on your own. Dinner on your own and overnight in Florence. (B)

Day 7:  Florence / Assisi
We depart Florence to the beautiful town of Assisi, the town of St. Francis and St. Clare.  A tour will include visits to the Basilica of St. Francis (view the exquisite artwork by Giotto), the Convent of St. Clare, and the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels.   Dinner and overnight in Assisi. (B, D)

Day 8:  Assisi / Orvieto / Rome
Today we depart for “The Eternal City”, Rome, with a stop first at the medieval hilltop town of Orvieto, home to a Eucharistic miracle in 1263 which established the Feast of Corpus Christi.  Ride the funicular up and visit the Duomo, which houses the altar cloth of the Miracle.  In San Domenico see the chair of St. Thomas Aquinas, who taught in Orvieto.  Upon arrival in Rome, enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour from your motorcoach  of some of the other important sights of Rome including the Palazzo Venezia, the Circus Maximus, the Forum, the Arch of Constantine and of course the Colosseum.  Dinner and overnight in Rome. Day 9: Rome
The group will attend one of the highlights of the trip, the Papal Audience (if available). After the Audience, visit the Catacombs along the Appian Way. Visit also to three of the four major basilicas in Rome; St.Mary Major, St. John Lateran and St. Paul Outside the Walls. Dinner on your own and overnight in Rome. (B)

Day 10: Rome
Today enjoy a guided tour of St. Peter’s Basilica, and the world famous Vatican Museums, featuring a visit to the Sistine Chapel.  Afternoon is free to explore the Eternal City on your own. Dinner and overnight in Rome. (B, D)

DAY 11: Rome / USA
After breakfast we depart our hotel for Rome Airport. Arrive home the same day. (B)
